Australia’s Youngest Skincare Boss Isn’t Here to Play
She wasn’t chasing trends. She was solving a problem her own.
“I first started the brand as a project so I would have products to use for myself.”
That’s how Luv Ur Skin began. At 13, Isabella became the youngest ever teen entrepreneur on Shark Tank Australia. Not long after, her products hit shelves in pharmacies across the country. While most kids were lining up for school canteen, Isabella was pitching to investors.
Building a Brand From the Ground Up

What sets Isabella apart isn’t just the age she started it’s how she thinks. She built Luv Ur Skin around the pillars of Green, Clean, and Not Mean natural ingredients, no nasties, no animal testing, and products gentle enough for sensitive skin. She didn’t just want to look after young skin. She wanted to help young people build good habits and confidence, starting with their morning routine.
“Young people face many more challenges these days. Luv Ur Skin aims to support the latter by offering a solution to their skincare routine that’s easy, feels amazing to use, and is formulated especially for them.”
Lessons From Shark Tank and Beyond
Appearing on Shark Tank was a turning point. She didn’t just get visibility she walked away with mentors and life-long lessons.
“Be nice to everyone kindness and a good reputation will get you far. Secondly, listen to everyone’s recommendations and advice then work out what will be of benefit to you.”
It wasn’t all smooth sailing. Like every founder, she made mistakes and owned them.
“When I first launched the spa range, I had picked jars as the packaging because I thought they looked cute... I didn’t think about the potential for contamination... I then updated all the packaging for the spa range to tubes.”
That mistake cost her money. But it also taught her what all great entrepreneurs learn early cute doesn’t cut it if it compromises quality.
Five Lifestyle Tweaks From Someone Who Gets It
Isabella’s approach to wellness goes beyond skincare. Here are her top five tweaks for better well-being:
Exercise – “Keeping fit and healthy not only helps your body but also your mind to function better.”
Water – “Always have a bottle of water with you all day long to make sure you get your 8 glasses.”
Sleep – “Anyone who knows me, can tell you that I LUV sleep! I recently read that people who nap during the day have bigger brains, so I’m on it!”
Me Time – “Even if it’s just sitting in my room listening to music or letting my dog use my hand as a chew toy.”
Tech Breaks – “We had one very strict rule in the house, no phones in the bedroom! We still have this rule and I now realise how important it is.”
No Overnight Success
“It takes 10 years to become an overnight success.”
Isabella isn’t bluffing. Building a skincare empire isn’t cheap. It’s not always fun. But she stuck to her values and kept learning.
“You spend so much time working, it’s really important, if you can, to work with people you like and can potentially learn from and vice versa.”
Fighting For What Matters
Mental health is where Isabella’s heart really sits. After living through Melbourne’s infamous lockdowns, she saw firsthand how isolation can break people.
“It doesn’t take much to just reach out to someone you think might be struggling and ask them how they are going... It’s about connecting and letting them know they’re not alone.”
Final Word
This isn’t just another startup story. It’s a reminder that Australian entrepreneurship is alive and well and coming from the most unexpected places. Isabella Dymalovski proves that you don’t need a degree or decades of experience to build something meaningful. You just need to care about the people you're building it for.
And when it comes to inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs, she’s not just talking the talk
she’s out here living it.
